What better way to unwind after a long week than to lounge by the pool and enjoy beer with close friends…Taking that thought forward,beer brand Foster put together an afternoon ‘Art of Chilling’ at Chandigarh Club for all to enjoy this Sunday. While the brief spell of afternoon rain could have played spoilsport,party-goers didn’t allow it to put a damper on their spirits. Large umbrellas were set up at tables all around the pool,and the rain gave way to beautiful weather,perfect for the poolside event. Guests enjoyed large cans of Foster’s and amazing barbeque while Nakul Shourie,the youngest professional DJ in India,belted out hottest tunes,playing a great mix of house,Hindi,and of course Punjabi music. Hailing from Delhi,he’s been DJing for over four years,and is only 19!

Punjabi singer Dilbag Singh,famous for his song ‘Oh Tina’ delighted the crowd by singing a few lines of his songs. Here specially from Delhi for the event,not to sing,but for “presence” and support Singh joked,“Punjabi community is the only community not in recession.” His next album will feature some “urban Punjabi” tracks in which he successfully fuses Punjabi lyrics with a funky beat.
