Four occupants of a Honda City car had a narrow escape when the moving vehicle suddenly caught fire near Sector 23 post office.

Four occupants of a Honda City car (CH04-C-9602) had a narrow escape when the moving vehicle suddenly caught fire near Sector 23 post office. The incident happened on Friday morning when Akshay was driving the car. He was being accompanied by his three friends: Dhawan,Abhishek and Ankit.

The occupants,all residents of Sector 24,were going to a friends house in Sector 22.

When the car reached Sector 23 post office,smoke started emanating from the trunk of the car. Akshay then stopped the car and opened the car trunk to find out what was wrong. To his shock,the car had caught fire.

All the occupants got down and moved a safe distance from the car. Within minutes the whole car was destroyed. A tree was also damaged from the huge flames which came out from the car.

By the time fire tender reached the spot and controlled the fire,the car had been completely destroyed.
