A local court on Friday adjourned hearing in the murder case of Sector
20 based financier Harjinder Singh Dhillon till August 30.
The court also recorded the statement of K S Dhillon,father of the deceased. On the said date,Simmi Sharma,the lone eyewitness and complainant in the case would be cross-examined.
KS Dhillon,72,said that Simmi who worked in the office of his son told him that accused Devinder Singh Whiskey had fired at Harjinder Singh Dhillon on November 25,2009.
He said that Simmi told him that five men had stormed into the office and had demanded the keys of his car from Dhillon,who refused. It was after this that the accused shot at Harjinder.
Simmi has identified the accused as Devinder Singh Whiskey,Manpreet Singh alias Manu,Surinder Singh alias Maana,Amrik Singh,Kuldeep Singh,Munish Sharma and Ravinder of Khanna.
