BTech maths question paper leaked

Receiving the information,the PTU authorities sent directions to all the centres not to distribution the question papers.

It is learnt that the question paper was sold to some agents in Ludhiana for Rs 25,000 who had further sold it to the students.

The examination was started again at 9.30 am with the second set of question papers.

PTU Examination Controller Dr Nachhattar Singh,said after getting the news,they took back the leaked question paper and the second set was sent to all the centres.

“We are will get a case registered,” he said.

The university authorities have decided to introduce a system of connecting all the examination centres through Intranet.

The question papers would be sent through the Intranet 15 minutes before the examination is to begin and they will be printed there.

At present,the question papers are printed a few days ahead of the examination and the chances of such leaks are increased,he added.

It may be noted that in earlier cases of question paper leak in PTU,no action has been taken against the accused.
