British Council holds prize distribution function

N K Chari,Chief General Manager,State Bank of India,Chandigarh,on Saturday awarded prizes to winners who participated in various literary competitions organised by the British Council during the celebration of their 12th anniversary,which took place from May 9 to 14.

N K Chari,Chief General Manager,State Bank of India,Chandigarh,on Saturday awarded prizes to winners who participated in various literary competitions organised by the British Council during the celebration of their 12th anniversary,which took place from May 9 to 14. The award function was held at Government Museum and Art Gallery,Sector 10.

As many as 100 British Library membership cards were given to meritorious student of underprivileged section of society studying at various government schools in Chandigarh.

Children from various schools of the Tricity were awarded for competitions such as fancy dress,quiz and essay writing.
