Truck spins out of control,crushes four persons
Phagwara:
Four persons,including a woman and her daughter and an elderly couple,were crushed to death by a truck around 3 pm on Sunday,at Chahal Nagar Chowk on NH-1. The loaded truck went out of control and turned turtle after crushing the four.

The truck was headed toward Jalandhar. As the driver lost control,it hit two vehicles and then a cycle rickshaw in which Surinder Kaur,who was in the 50s,and her daughter Parminder Kaur (30) were travelling. After this,it hit an old couple Pritam Singh and Jasbir Kaur,who were standing on the roadside waiting for a bus. The four died on the spot.

SAD slams Centre’s remarks on purchasing power leading to price hike
