Bad day for Sagar,loses both match

With the kind of form he was in during the last few weeks,Sagar Bains was expected to win and win handsomely.

With the kind of form he was in during the last few weeks,Sagar Bains was expected to win and win handsomely. However,as dark clouds hovered over the sky bringing some respite from unforgiving heat,Sagar’s hopes to make it into the next round too started fading as Abhimanyu Bansal played some great shots to win his boys’ Under-14 second round qualifying match against the Chandigarh lad and and won 1-4,5-4,4-1in the Manav Mangal AITA Total Tennis Talent Series played on Saturday .

After winning the first set at 1-4,Sagar was confidence personified as he began to dominate in the second round also. However,Abhimanyu surprised Sagar with his fightback as he soon tilted the match in his former. And as he started to pick up his game,Sagar had no answer for his powerful shots and conceded the deciding set without much resistance. Sagar was also shown the door from Under-12 qualifying match as Gursirat Singh thrashed him 6-0 in a one-sided encounter.
