BJP seeks probe in 2G spectrum scam

Chandigarh: Former BJP MP and All-India Incharge of the Legal and Legislative Cell of BJP Satya Pal Jain today said that BJP will continue its protests in both houses of Parliament till the acceptance of its demand of constituting a Joint Parliamentary Committee to conduct a probe into the 2-G Spectrum Scandal,Commonwealth Games Scandal and Adarsh Society Bombay Scandal.

Jain questioned why the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Congress President Sonia Gandhi were running away from the JPC,when this committee will have members of parliament from all political parties including Congress and its allies. He said that the suggestion by the PM of getting these scandals probed by Public Accounts Committee is only an attempt to avoid a thorough probe into the matter. Jain said that the BJP will not allow the guilty politicians, including ministers,to go scot free from these scandals and will see to it that this matter is taken to the logical end.
