He is a simple, romantic guy,yet to discover Facebook or tweet to the ‘tworld’. “Bikramjeet Singh is a small town boy from Delhi-Haryana border, has this typical Haryanvi accent and is still clueless whether Blackberry is a fruit or not,” says actor Rehan Khan about the character he is playing in his next flick,Tum Milo To Sahi(slated for release on April 2). Directed by Kabir Sadanand, this is Khan’s third film: the first two Fast Forward and Jaana: Let’s Fall in Love had failed to create any impact in the box office.

The character he plays in Tum Milo is close to his heart. “Everyone cracks jokes at Bikramjit’s expense and ridicules him but he sticks to the principles of his simple upbringing and wins everybody’s hearts. Like him,I feel that it is the small things in love that give the greatest joys,” he adds.

Khan is not very net or tech savvy either. “I just opened a Facebook account four days back. I still can’t understand how people spend hours on the internet just updating and networking. I would rather learn dance or a new language. Better still, give me a paper and pen, lock me in a room or throw me on the beach with a large supply of food, and I’ll keep writing,” says the actor.

Khan,in fact, finds writing therapeutic and has been inspired by his late father,writer-director Sharookh Mirza. He has almost finished penning a script titled Hasrat. “It is the story of a girl and her dreams and how they start coming true,” he adds.
