Action against 7 students for fight in school

Following a clash between the students of Class XI and XII,the authorities of Lawrence School,Sanawar,has initiated action against seven students from the school,and sent them to their homes.

Sources say the incident took place on Monday evening when some students of Vindhya and Shivalik houses had a fight. The students allegedly turned violent and started assaulting each other. The situation was controlled by some faculty members intervened,and asked the clashing students to go to their hostels.

Sources say that after an inquiry,seven students were found guilty of indulging in indiscipline.

While there was talk that the students had been suspended,Headmaster Parveen Vashisth denied it. He said the report of probe committee would be submitted to the governing body of the school for a final decision on the matter.
