High drama prevailed outside the Punjab and Haryana High Court when an Ambala resident alleged he was kidnapped by four youths in a car. However, the police are skeptical as the complainant,Ajit, said he jumped out of the moving car in a crowded area but he received no injuries. Moreover,,there are no eyewitnesses in the case.
A resident of Ambala,Ajit had come to the High Court to submit a writ petition. He had moved the court first in 2006 alleging corruption by some military officers. His petition was first rejected by the High Court and the Supreme Court rejected the same in 2007. Today,he alleged he was about to enter the High Court to file a PIL when four youth abducted him. He then jumped out of the car near the Matka Chowk and then called the police.
