It was one of the most awaited launch bashes held in the tricity in a long time. Page 3 ,Panchkula timed the formal launch of its Zen lounge with its first anniversary celebrations,and it was as if everyone wanted to be invited to the party. It was Saturday night when a cracker of a party was hosted at Zazen,the restaurant that houses the lounge. The lounge opened its doors with a spectacular laser show to launch the logo of the Zen lounge in the sky. Soon after,Russian belly dancers welcomed the guests at the entrance with their scintillating Arabic moves. As one got indoors,it was time to get into the groove as guest DJ Barkha Kaul along with resident DJ Bally dished out a good mix of Bollywood,retro,trance and house music. The well-attended do saw a display of fireworks and a fireshow to further up the entertainment quotient of the night. A separate sheesha lounge was also created,in keeping with the Arabic theme of the evening. To capture the anniversary special,the lounge also hosted a photo booth that saw many guests pose and preen in front of the cameras. An eventful arrival indeed.
