6 IPS officers promoted

The state government on Monday promoted six IPS officers and transferred two others with immediate effect. The state now has four DGPs and 15 ADGPs. As per the home department order,G D Pandey has been promoted and posted as DGP (Punjab Home Guards and Civil Defence),C S R Reddy promoted and posted as ADGP (Security),M K Tiwari promoted and posted as ADGP-cum-MD Punjab Police Housing Corporation,Gurdev Singh promoted and posted as ADGP Punjab Armed Police,Rajpal Meena promoted and posted as ADGP (Powercom) and V K Bhawra promoted and posted as ADGP (NRI Tribunal).
