40 teachers honoured

The Government Teachers Union on Saturday honoured some teachers at Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School,Sector 27.

The Government Teachers Union on Saturday honoured some teachers at Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School,Sector 27. V K Singh,finance-cum-education secretary,inaugurated the function by lighting the traditional lamp. As many as 40 teachers were awarded for their contribution to the field of teaching. Among the awardees were some retired teachers too.

Asserting that teaching is a noble profession and teachers are the nation-builders,Singh highlighted the role of a teacher in the life of the students. The teacher moulds young minds and makes them true citizens,he added.
