3 missing Snehalaya children traced

Three of the 12 children who went missing from Snehalaya have been traced by the Chandigarh Police. Two of the three have been found in District Gaya,Bihar.

Shekhar,who disappeared on April 28,was found at his house in Mauli Jagran,Manimajra. Though Shekhar was taken into the house by his parents,Snehalaya authorities reportedly did not inform the local police.

A lookalike of Michael Masih,missing child,was wrongly brought by Chandigarh Police. The said child was traced in district Bathinda and when it was verified it transpired that the child is not Masih. who went missing from Snehalya on August 23. Police came to know about the child when somebody called them claiming Masih is residing in district Bathinda after seeing his photo in a newspaper.

Police brought another child,a lookalike of Garja Singh,an inmate of Snehalya. Later,the Chandigarh Police found out that Garja had disappeared from his house in district Ambala and he was handed over to his father Dharam Singh,who is a retired army official.
