23-yr-old booked for raping minor

The Solan district police arrested one Neil Kumar (23) of Tukana in Arki for allegedly raping a minor girl. The arrest was made on the basis of the complaint filed by the six-year-old victim’s mother. Arki station house officer Vikarm Chauhan said the victim’s mother alleged that the accused,son of their landlord,raped her daughter after locking her in a room. “Neil has been booked under Section 376 and the girl has been referred to a Solan hospital for medial examination. The medical report is still awaited. The accused will be produced in court on Wednesday,” he added.
