2 new courts to come up in Bilaspur in three years

At least two more courts will soon be set up in Bilaspur sub-division of Yamunanagar District,and the court complex,being constructed on the Bilaspur-Jagdhari road,will be completed in the next three years.

At least two more courts will soon be set up in Bilaspur sub-division of Yamunanagar District,and the court complex,being constructed on the Bilaspur-Jagdhari road,will be completed in the next three years.

This was stated by Justice Satish Kumar Mittal,Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court,while addressing advocates after inaugurating the judicial court in Bilaspur,on Tuesday. The judicial court is located on the local tehsil premises.

Efforts are being made to set up rural courts in different parts of the state. Besides setting up a number of court complexes,a mobile court has been launched in Mewat District.

Since Independence,the judiciary has been attempting to set up courts in each and every small town to enable people to get easy and affordable justice nearer home. Judiciary has an important place in the Indian Constitution,and it is duty of all those associated with the justice system to provide true justice to people. As there is only one truth,similarly justice is also one. Lie or injustice could be more than one,Justice Mittal said.

He said that advocates could play an important role in providing people justice and make it affordable. They should make people aware of their legal rights. The Lok Adalats and the reconciliation and mediation machinery were being used for providing easy and affordable justice,Justice Mittal added.
