2 brothers booked

Two brothers were booked for hacking a Facebook account of a Sector 22 resident and posting indecent remarks on it. The accused have been identified as Sahil Pandhir and Neeraj Pandhir,both residents of Old Housing Board Colony,Karnal.

“The complainant,a Sector 22 resident,alleged that the accused,which included her daughter’s estranged husband Neeraj,along with his brother hacked the Facebook account of her son Ritik. Further,the two posted indecent comments about the complainant and her daughter on it,” said Ranjodh Singh,Station House Officer,Sector 17 police station.

Neeraj and the complainant’s daughter were reported to have had a love marriage,but later their relations turned sour. They are living separately and have a case pending with the CAW branch of the police.

Police have booked the two under the Information Technology Act and a case has been registered.
