Man ends life in Karnataka after accusing woman CISF officer of hiding her marriage despite their physical relationship

The police registered a case of abetment to suicide and are further investigating.The Mangaluru police in Karnataka have booked a woman Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officer for abetment of suicide after a 40-year-old man allegedly ended his life after accusing her of cheating.
The deceased was identified as Abhishek Singh, a native of Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. He worked in a private firm in Chennai but came to Mangaluru to participate in an event before his death. On Monday, his body was found in a lodge where he was staying. Before his death, Singh, in a video, alleged that he was in a relationship with the woman, an assistant commandant in the CISF.
He stated that they were in a physical relationship and intended to marry her. However, he claimed that he later discovered she was already married and had hidden this information. He said that after he confronted her about it, she abandoned him, which resulted in his depression.
The police registered a case of abetment to suicide and are further investigating. Meanwhile, they are waiting for Singh’s family’s arrival to hand over his body.
In the video posted on Instagram, Singh claimed that the CISF officer currently stationed in Ahmedabad received jewels worth Rs 8 lakh from him. However, he later discovered that she had been in extra-marital relationships with several men, he alleged.
