The police tracked down the peddlers after receiving a tip-off that they had a large quantity of drugs and were selling the cache to students in Bengaluru.
The arrested Nigerians were identified as Chikko Joseph and Yaya Barry, police sources said. About 1.25 kg of cocaine and 50 gram of MDMA crystals were found in their possession, the police said on Friday in an official statement on an operation conducted in the Yelahanka New Town area on February 26.
The police complaint in the case was filed by a police constable who received a tip-off about the suspicious activities of the two Nigerians.
