With Artificial Intelligence in focus, India Strategy Conference to kick off at IIM-Ahmedabad

The conference will be held from December 15 to 18.

The event will have six parallel tracks: Environment, Society and Governance (ESG) and Non-Market Strategy; Internationalisation and Global Strategy; Technology; Innovation and Digital Transformation; Family Business and Entrepreneurship; and Leadership and Human Capital. In addition to more than 170 paper and poster presentations, the conference will host a variety of pre-conference workshops and interactive sessions for professional development, IIMA said.

These include research method workshops for early stage researchers, a panel discussion of academic leaders from Indian and overseas business schools, a panel discussion of editors from top international journals, practitioner sessions by top executives to give insights on contemporary issues in the world of practice, and career talks. The conference will also feature industry leaders and experts.

In a statement, conference co-chairs, Prof Amit Karna and Prof Chitra Singla from IIM Ahmedabad and Prof Seung Hoon Lee from ISB, said, “Through the India Strategy Conference 2024, we hope that researchers, educators, and managers will be able to discuss meaningful and forward-looking ideas around the topic of strategic management in a world that is likely to be dominated by AI. ISC is emerging as a strong platform for discussing these issues and to enable the global community of strategy scholars and practitioners to engage with contemporary phenomena in the strategy domain.”
