Ahmedabad’s Umiya temple to establish India’s identity, Sanatan Dharma globally: MoS Devusinh Chauhan
At the event, Vishv Umiya Foundation founder and president RP Patel urged Gujarat youths to work in the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Umiya temple, which is being constructed at Jaspur on the SG Highway in Ahmedabad, will establish the identity of India and sanatan dharma across the world, said Union Minister of State for Communications Devusinh Chauhan Sunday
“The Patidar community has given me a lot. I have not come to this society seeking anything but even then it gives me a lot. The Vishv Umiya temple will be a symbol of sanatan dharma. After the temple of Lord Ram (in Ayodhya), Vishv Umiya temple will establish the identity of India and sanatan dharma worldwide,” Kheda MP Chauhan said as he addressed a maha sammelan organised in Kheda’s Kapadvanj by Ahmedabad-based Vishv Umiya Foundation.
The Vishv Umiya Foundation has been organising similar events across the state.
At the event, Vishv Umiya Foundation founder and president RP Patel urged Gujarat youths to work in the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have raised Sardar Patel’s stature and glory not only in the nation but in the world,” Patel stated.
The Umiya temple is being built with the support of social funds. Besides the temple, the campus will also house centres of education, employment, health, sports, and cultural and business development, apart from hostels.
