Two held in Surat for illegal sand mining

Surat:The police carried out raids on the banks of Tapi river on Thursday evening and arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in illegal sand mining. The police also seized a truck from the spot. Police have lodged a case against the driver and the truck owner and started probe.

MSU syndicate member to visit US

Vadodara:Ashwin Choksi,a businessman and member of the syndicate of the M S University,will visit the University of South Florida,US,next week as a representative of the varsity. During his visit,Choksi will explore areas of possible collaboration between the two varsities.
