Robbers strike twice in Surat

Two robberies were reported from Surat on Friday in which the robbers decamped with cash and valuables worth Rs 3 lakh.

Two robberies were reported from Surat on Friday in which the robbers decamped with cash and valuables worth Rs 3 lakh. The first robbery took place around 9 am at Vasant Ambalal Courier firm on the Udhna Road. In another incident,a textile businessman was robbed of Rs 2.83 lakh by two unidentified persons when he was on his way to a bank to deposit the amount at 10.30 in the morning. Udhna police are investigating both the cases.
