Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat on September 15 and 16 during which he will participate in four public functions.
This will be Modi’s first visit to his home state after becoming the Prime Minister for the third time in a row.
According to senior minister in the state government Rushikesh Patel, the PM will arrive on Sunday evening and will take part in a function at Vadsar Air Force Station following which he will stay overnight at Gandhinagar.
On Monday, the PM will remain present at a function at Mahatma Mandir in the state capital to participate in the 4th Global Reinvest Renewable Energy Investors’ Meet and Expo–2024. The global event is set to witness participation from CMs and energy ministers from different states in the country apart from renewable energy ministers of Germany and Denmark besides delegations of various other nations.
PM Modi will also inaugurate the Phase II of Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro Rail service from Sector 8 Metro Station.
Later in the evening, the PM will inaugurate or lay foundation stones for projects worth Rs 9,000 crore.
