Paralytic man held with arms

The city DCB on Friday arrested and booked a paralytic astrologer under Arms Act for allegedly possessing arms. The man has been identified as Manojkumar Siraram Sharma (35),a resident of Tirthjal Complex near P&T colony at Satellite. Acting on a tip-off that he has been buying and storing arms illegally,DCB raided his house where he stays with a young boy who is his caretaker and allegedly seized an imported pistol,one revolver and two country-made pistols,besides 27 live cartridges. DCB officials said Sharma suffered a stroke after an accident over a year ago and has been confined to bed since then. Police said Sharma was a native of Nagor district in Rajasthan. He has been put under house arrest.
