A one-day session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly has been convened on Thursday,which is likely to be the last gathering of the present body of elected representatives before the elections. The session will coincide with the Presidential election. There will be no question-answer session. The Assembly will take up two bills and have a question under short-call notice, sources said. The Opposition Congress criticised the government for calling a one-day session,that too without the mandatory question and answer session. It is after a gap of almost six months that the House will be meeting,but they have just called it for a day. This is murder of democracy, Leader of Opposition Shaktisinh Gohil said.
