In an open letter to Chief Minister Narendra Modi,Gujarat Congress chief Arjun Modhwadia has alleged that the former has either silenced or harassed a person whenever one stood against him.
In his letter,Modhwadia has referred to the fasts carried out by the Vaghelas whose sons were found murdered outside Asaram Ashram three years ago and said it did not arouse any Sadbhavana in Modi. He has also stated that when incidents of chain snatching are rampant, the intelligence bureau is busy spying on women like Jagruti Pandya and Shweta Bhatt.
Modhwadia has traced the history of Gujarat starting from 2002 Godhra train carnage, calling it the states biggest law and order failure. He has also alleged that after that,Modi gave instructions to officers not to prevent communal riots in the state.
He further alleges that the government has indulged in corruption of around Rs 1 lakh crore and has not appointed Lokayukta for the past eight years. He has also held Modi responsible for Haren Pandyas murder and harassment meted out to IPS officers like R B Sreekumar,Kuldip Sharma and Sanjiv Bhatt for standing against him.
Referring to the case against Bhatt of forcing a policeman to sign an affidavit,Modhwadia said that attempts are being done to fabricate him in the case although he had nothing to do with it.
