A 27-year-old man was hacked to death, allegedly by six people, over a petty dispute late on Friday. Three of the accused have been arrested, the police said. The deceased has been identified as one Navalsinh Vaghela. The Odhav police said the incident was a fallout of a monetary dispute. The deceaseds brother,Kiritsinh, had not returned Rs 300 that he had borrowed from the prime accused,Takhaji Thakore, during a gambling session in Chamunda Chappra, nearly a month ago. An altercation ensued between Navalsinh and the accused when the former tried to stop them from entering his house. Takhaji, who was carrying a sword, attacked him, killing him on the spot, said police. Takhaji, his brother Diplo and an accomplice,Dherio Thakore, have been arrested on murder charges. We are on a lookout for the other three, who are at large, Inspector J B Rana said.
