Loot: cops prepare sketches of accused

The Satellite police have prepared the sketches of two robbers,who had reportedly held a woman from Nagaland hostage in her house here,and decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs 3.29 lakh. The police said the sketches of the two accused will be distributed across all police stations in the city and put up in the neighbouring areas.

Priyanka Karpul and her husband,a manager with Zydus Cadila,are residents of Akshardham Apartments at Shyamal Crossroads in Ahmedabad.

Karpul was alone in the house when the robbers barged inside after introducing themselves as salesman. They claimed her husband had won a gift hamper. The miscreants locked up Karpul in the bathroom while they went on a looting spree.

The police are yet to make any headway in identifying the accused.
