Independent MLA joins BJP

Ketan Inamdar,who won the last Assembly election from Savli constituency in Vadodara district as a rebel candidate,Wednesday joined to BJP. “I have joined BJP to strengthen the hands of Chief Minister Narendra Modi who is heading the party’s poll campaign committee and is expected to play a more important role at the national level,” he said. Inamdar had contested as an independent candidate after BJP refused him nomination. He then defeated BJP candidate Upendra Gohil and sitting Congress MLA Khumansinh Chauhan.
