As many as 30 recruiters offered first year students of Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) internship opportunities during next years summer holidays as the second cluster of summer placements came to an end on Monday. Firms from the field of investment banking,financial services,general management,international marketing global brand,private equity,and venture capital visited the campus,IIM-A said in a release. These included Unilever,Procter & Gamble,Microsoft,Tata Administrative Services,Aditya Birla Group,Ernst & Young and Feedback Ventures. The next cluster is scheduled for November 17 and companies in media,advertising and telecom are expected. In the first cluster on Friday,about 25 companies in sectors such as investment banking,global strategy consulting and private equity,venture capital and investment management firms had visited the institute.
