GCMMF plans Rs 3,000-cr expansion

The Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd,which saw a three-fold increase in turnover during the last five years,will invest Rs 3,000 crore for various new projects in the next five years,which include setting up eight new milk processing units in Gujarat,Mumbai,Delhi and Kolkata. “These units will help increase our daily milk processing capacity to 180 lakh litres from the current 145 lakh litres,” said R S Sodhi,managing director of GCMMF.
