Deputy municipal commissioner U C Padia, who is in-charge of BRTS maintenance, said the problem was due to the monsoon season when buses get dirty as they pass from waterlogged areas and rainwater falling on them relentlessly.

He said the problem would be solved with end of monsoon spell. He also said buses were cleaned daily at Ranip and Chandola depots.
