Congress MLA passes away

The Congress MLA of Chotila Assembly,Popat Jinjariya (51),passed away this morning of heart and kidney-related diseases at a hospital in Ahmedabad,Congress party sources said here on Saturday.

The three-time MLA was being treated at Wockhardt Hospital here for heart and kidney diseases and later shifted to Ahmedabad last night for further treatment,where he died this morning.

Congress leaders Siddharth Patel,Shaktisinh Gohil and others were present at his funeral procession. Ahmed Patel expressed his condolences,while Chief Minister Narendra Modi expressed regret over his untimely demise.
