“A gradual fall in minimum temperatures by about 2 degrees during the next three days will be recorded in the state. Thereafter, no large change. Cold wave conditions very likely to prevail in the districts of Saurashtra, including Bhavnagar and parts of Kutch, during the next 48 hours,” the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast issued Monday stated.
Other centres that recorded a dip in minimum temperatures were Mahuva at 9.1 degree Celsius, Kandla Airport (10.3), Deesa at (10.6), Vadodara (11), Keshod (11.6), Rajkot (11.8), Bhuj (12), Gandhinagar (12.4), Ahmedabad (13.9), Amreli (13.7), Surendranagar (13.8), and Surat 14.4 degree Celsius.
Maximum temperatures recorded in the state were between 29 and 25 degree Celsius. While Kandla Port recorded 29.2 degree Celsius, Gandhinagar logged 28.5, Veraval 28.4, Surat and Porbandar 28, Ahmedabad 27.7, Naliya 27.6, Bhuj 27.5, and Deesa at 25.7 degree Celsius.
