CEPT placement: 11 students hired on Day 1

The first day of placements for CEPT University’s Faculty of Public Policy and Planning on Monday saw 11 students placed in three firms,with Rs 4.8 lakh per annum being the highest salary offered. The average salary offered today was Rs 4.5 lakh per annum,said Mayank Garg,the student placement coordinator. Besides the 11 students hired by Knightfrank,Feedback Ventures and GIFT,five are on the waiting list. The final list will be disclosed on Tuesday or Wednesday. According to Garg,many students were interviewed through video-conference conducted by CEPT and Hyderabad-based Alexandria. Five companies,including state-owned GUDA and GIDC,are expected to come on Tuesday.
