After the gritty Gulaal,Ayesha Mohan turned glamourous as she twirled at the WIFW for designer Anjana Bhargav. After the show,she let on that she got the role by chance.

The 25-year-old,assisting director Anurag Kashyap,had slinked in front of the camera to give cues to an actor and Kashyap found his Kiran. “I consider myself absolutely lucky,” said Mohan,who used to skip classes to take part in acting workshops,and waited at tables while doing a course in screenwriting and direction in Canada.

Interestingly,Gulaal isn’t her first film. She also featured in The Pool directed by Chris Smith that picked up a special jury award at Sundance film festival in 2007.

At the fashion week,Mohan added cause to costume,supporting the Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation that promotes clothes woven by those who had been affected by leprosy.
