Prices of urad and rajmah fell by up to Rs 200 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on sluggish demand against adequate supplies from producing belts.
Traders said sluggish demand against sufficient supplies mainly led to a fall in select wholesale pulses.
In the national capital,urad fell by Rs 200 to Rs 3,600-3,900 per quintal. Urad dal chilka local and best traded lower by the same margin to Rs 4,300-4,600 and Rs 4,800-5,300 per quintal.
Urad dal doya followed suit and enquired lower by similar margin to Rs 5,200-5,300 per quintal.
Rajmah chitra eased to Rs 7,300-9,400 against last close of Rs 7,300-9,500 per quintal.
