Sugar prices remain flat on some support

There was no change in the pattern of trading in the wholesale sugar market.

There was no change in the pattern of trading in the wholesale sugar market at national capital as prices after moving in a tight range on scattered deals on some demand closed around previous levels.

Arrivals and offtake too remained at a low ebb and volume of business poor.

Marketmen said absence of worthwhile activity mainly kept prices unchanged.

Following were today quotations in Rs. per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 3,900- ,000,S-30 3,875-3,975. Mill delivery: M-30 3,600-3,970; S-30 3,575-3,950. Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3880,Kinnoni 3980,Asmoli 3870,Dorala 3810,Budhana N.T,Thanabhavan N.T,Ramala 3640,Bulandshar N.T,Morna NT,Sakoti NT,Chandpur NT,Dhanora 3780,Khatuli 3770,Baghpat NT,Amroha NT,Simbholi 3900,Modi Nagar 3750,Anupshar NT and Nazibabad NT.
