Lenovo has announced the launch of the IdeaPad Z510, that offers a mix of premium features and a stylish design. Weighing 2.2 kg, it has a 15.6-inch HD LED anti-glare display with JBL speakers and Dolby Home Theatre. The notebook is powered by fourth generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors. It promises up to 6 hours of battery life and has a white backlit keyboard. One of the highlights is the hybrid 1 TB storage. This means that users can opt for an 8 GB SSD to speed up booting and store data on a 1 TB HDD. Connectivity options include an HDMI-out port, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connectors as well as a 2-in-1 card reader. It also has an integrated DVD drive.

Milagrow Business and Knowledge Solutions has brought back the TabTop PC, now called the M8 Pro 3G, with a 1.6 Ghz Rockhip 3188 processor. It has a 16 GB inbuilt storage, expandable to 64 GB with a micro SD card. It supports external storage up to 2 TB has 2 GB dual channel DDR3 RAM. The tablet will now be sold exclusively on Snapdeal.com and will be available for a week-long launch price of Rs 19,999. The tablet has a 9.4-inch capacitive touch panel with 1280×800 resolution under a Gorilla Glass screen. It also has a 3G SIM slot, and runs Android Jelly Bean.

Idea Cellular has announced 5.5-inch 3G phablet, the Idea ULTRA II. The company also launched a budget smartphone, a 1GHz dual-core entry-level 3G smartphone called Idea !d 1000. The Idea Ultra II has a 5.5-inch screen an 8-MP rear camera with HDR and 2-MP front camera with LED flash. The dual-SIM smartphone has a 1.3 GHz quad core processor and runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2. The phone is powered by a 2500 mAh battery. The Idea !d 1000 has a 3.5-inch screen and is aimed at first-time buyers. It is powered by 1 GHz dual core processor and runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2. The dual-SIM phone  is priced at Rs 5,400.

Indian technology firm Amkette has launched the Truview HD webcam. The webcam has features such as “Optilite technology” for automatic low-light correction. The webcam has “Ino HD lens which delivers high-definition picture quality” and good “level of detail”, Amkette claims. The webcam also has a widescreen compatibility with an aspect ratio of 16:9, which enables better viewing on LCD TVs and large-screen monitors. Amkette says the webcam’s microphone reduces background noise to let people on the video call hear you clearly. Amkette also offers its TruView Magic Filter webcam software.
