Trying to cash in on the success of the Nokia Lumia 520, the Finnish phone maker has launched a new Lumia 525 with upgraded features and a very competitive price tag. The Nokia Lumia 525 has been priced at Rs 10,399 and will sell along with the Lumia 520, which is now priced around Rs 8,000. Nokia’s aggressive intent was also visible in the pricing of its new phablet, the Lumia 1320. This 6-inch phablet has been priced at Rs 23,999, pitting it against the Samsung’s Grand series of devices and a host of other Android phablets. Along with all the regular Lumia features as well as the 4-inch super sensitive touch screen, the 525 will come pre-loaded with premium Gameloft games worth Rs 2,025.

Canon Powershot G16

Canon has launched PowerShot G16, a camera aimed at enthusiasts. The camera features a DIGIC 6 processor with a 12.1-MP CMOS sensor. Canon claims it can shoot 1080p video at 60 fps. The camera has built-in Wi-Fi and an artistic HDR scene mode. The PowerShot G16 also comes with a Background Defocus feature that helps photographers produce the bokeh effect. It does this by taking two photos, and blurring the background as needed. The PowerShot G16 is priced at Rs 34,995. Canon says the camera can shoot 12.2 frames per second and 5.7 fps with autofocus enabled. This camera has 5x optical zoom that can be expanded to 10x using a digital zoom feature.
