Tata Sons, new CEO, Eruch N Kapadia will report to Tata Group CFO Saurabh Agrawal, who had joined the group in July this year from Aditya Birla Group, where he was Head of Strategy. When contacted, a Tata Sons spokesperson confirmed the development.

Tata Sons had made the proposal, which would restrict stakeholders, including Mistry, from selling their shares to external investors last week. The proposal was opposed by Mistry, whose family owns nearly 18.4 per cent stake.

On November 15, ousted Tata Sons Chairman Cyrus Mistry was voted out as chairman by the board of the Tata Global Beverages and Harish Bhat was appointed in his place.
