Sunil Kumar Singh biography

Sunil Kumar Singh, born on January 10, 1962, is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Singh’s political career began in the 16th Lok Sabha, where he served as a member from the Chatra constituency.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Singh was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from the Chatra constituency. During his tenure, he served on various committees, including the Committee on Government Assurances, the Standing Committee on Coal and Steel, the Consultative Committee, the Ministry of External Affairs, and Overseas Indian Affairs.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Singh was re-elected to the 17th Lok Sabha from the same constituency. During his second term, he served as a Whip for the Bharatiya Janata Party, Member of the Business Advisory Committee in Lok Sabha, Member of the Standing Committee on Coal and Steel, and Chairperson of the Committee of Privileges in Lok Sabha.
