Sudhir Gupta is a political leader from Madhya Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsour constituency. He was born on May 19, 1959, to his parents, Ramchandra Gupta and Durgabai Gupta.
His journey into national politics started in 2014 when he successfully contested and won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from the Mandsour seat on the BJP’s ticket. He retained his seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections after defeating his closest opponent from the Indian National Congress by a significant margin of over three lakh votes.
He has ties to the Mandsaur Judo Parishad, the Chamber of Commerce, the Bharat Vikas Parishad, and Akhil Bhartiya Vaishy Mahasammelan. He was also suggested for membership in the Indian government's Committee on Estimate, the Ministry of Commerce's Standing Committees, and the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.

New Delhi, Jan 16 (ANI): Dr. Sudhir Gupta, head of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) forensic department, on Saturday alleged that medical report reveals that death of Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, was a sudden unnatural death and this had been said from the very beginning by the medical board. He added that the report was under consideration and the matter would be investigated accordingly.
