Sonakshi Sinha: From Action Heroine to Acclaimed Performer Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of veteran actors Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, has carved a notable career in Bollywood, transitioning from action-film leading lady to critically acclaimed performer in streaming series. Her debut in the blockbuster Dabangg (2010) garnered her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, propelling her to prominence. Subsequent roles in commercially successful films like Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardaar, and Dabangg 2 solidified her position as a bankable star. While known for her roles in male-dominated action films and item numbers, Sinha received critical acclaim for her portrayal of a tuberculosis-stricken woman in Lootera (2013), earning a Filmfare Best Actress nomination.
