Shriya Saran: A Pan-Indian Presence Shriya Saran Bhatnagar, a prominent figure in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema, began her acting journey after abandoning her aspirations to become a dancer. Her debut in the Telugu film Ishtam (2001) was followed by commercial success with Santosham (2002).
