800 civic works on hold, Rs 220 crore diverted to develop Katraj-Kondhwa road

The civic body chief said land owners who were to give their land to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) have refused to accept the compensation through floor space index (FSI) or transfer of development rights (TDR) and have sought for cash payments instead.

Vivek Velankar, a Pune-based RTI activist said: “These certificates should not be available this easily. PMC should be providing these certificates after confirming the identity of the person, or at least the mother’s or father’s name should be mandatorily entered on the website.”
