New Delhi, Feb 14 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday attacked people for questioning the authenticity of Hafiz Saeed’s hand in JNU row and asked why they have become the lawyer of the LeT chief. BJP spokesperson SudhanshuTrivedi stressed that instead of being sensitive to national security, they (Opposition) are hell bent on tarnishing the image of the country. Calling the demand of such people as unfortunate and condemnable, Trivedi said the basis on which the government decides is not a subject of political discourse.

Maldives Defence Minister meets Parrikar

New Delhi, Jan 20 (ANI): Minister of Defence and National Security of Maldives Adam Shareef met his Indian counterpart Manohar Parrikar in New Delhi to boost bilateral ties, especially in the area of security. Shareef held delegation-level talks with Parrikar during which it was reportedly decided that both the nations should deepen their defence cooperation. Earlier in the day, Shareef also inspected a tri-services guard of honour during a ceremonial reception in the national capital. During his stay here, Shareef will also meet External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
