Days after the attack on Lt Gen (retd) K S Brar in London,Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Thursday alleged that while the Operation Bluestar hero was not aware of the reality in Punjab,the Congress was making statements to disturb peace and harmony in the state.

The London Metropolitan Police on Monday charged two Indian-origin men for intent to cause grievous bodily harm to 78-year-old Lt Gen (retd) K S Brar,who led the Army in Operation Bluestar in 1984.

It was wrong to keep media out of Amritsar during Op Blue Star. Without them,there were rumours and a lot of mutinies
